Day 2 Beijing
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. Take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world.

Day 3 Beijing
You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance. After lunch visit the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting. In the evening you will enjoy an acrobatic show.

Day 4 Beijing
In the morning take a tour through Hutongs, Beijing’s old and narrow lanes, and visits to Nanluogu Lane and Imperial Academy. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complex in China. Continue to the National Grand Theater, Bird’s Nest (National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatic Center).

Day 5 Beijing/Nanjing
Transfer to the airport and take the fight to Nanjing. Upon arrival, take a tour to the Mausoleum of Sun Yat Sen, visit the Qinhuai River View Area, which is called “ten-kilometer-pearl-decorated curtains”. Continue to the Confucius Temple which is the place of worshipping and offering sacrifices to Confucius, the great philosopher and educator of ancient China.

Day 6 Nanjing
Take a full day tour to Ming Dynasty City Wall, Mausoleum of the First Ming Emperor, the Presidential Palace, Nanjing Museum, Zhanyuan Garden and Dan family Compound.

Day 7 Nanjing/Zhenjiang/Yangzhou
Transfer to Zhenjiang, a beautiful old city, to tour the Jinshan Temple and Xijindu Ancient Street. After lunch, transfer to Yangzhou across the Runyang Bridge over the Yangtze River, to have a tour of the Slender West Lake, Geyuan Garden and Wang’s Garden (a salt trader’s ancient residence).

Day 8 Yangzhou/Rugao/Nantong
After a morning tour of the Grand Canal, leave for Rugao City. After lunch, take a sightseeing tour of Shuihui Garden, Dinghui Temple and the Great World of Ruxiao Flowers and Trees. Then transfer to Nantong. In the evening have a night tour of Hao River.
