Day 1 Shanghai
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be transferred to the hotel for a two-night stay on a room and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore. You could take a walk along the famous Bund to fully appreciate this diverse city.


Day 2 Shanghai
Today's activities: Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Acrobatic Show
Morning:
Visit the Shanghai Museum with its collection of ancient Chinese Art of bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy.
Afternoon:
Continue to visit the Yu Garden, which has over 30 pavilions, linked by a maze of corridors and bridges, then followed by the Jade Buddha Temple where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured.
Evening:
Enjoy an Acrobatic Show at the Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel at night.

Day 3 Shanghai to Guilin
Today's activities: Fubo Hill, Reed Flute Cave
Morning:
Transfer to take your flight to Guilin.
Afternoon:
Upon arrival, meet the guide and visit historic Fubo Hill and the Reed Flute Cave - a 790 feet deep dripstone cave which includes myriads of stalactites and stalagmites of dazzling colors.

Day 4 Guilin to Yangshuo to Guilin
Today's activities: Li River cruise
Today take a scenic river cruise along the Li River with its peaceful senerity and jagged limestone peaks. Lunch is included on board before arriving at Yangshuo where you have free time to explore and peruse the local shops and markets. Continue to take the private car back to Guilin.

Day 5 Guilin to Xi'an
Today's activities: Shanxi History Museum
Morning:
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Xi'an, China's ancient capital.
Afternoon:
Upon arrival, city tour includes the Shanxi History Museum where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture before checking in at the Hotel for 2 nights.

Day 6 Xi'an
Today's activities:Terracotta Warriors, Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Show
Morning:
Full day visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors where life-sized infantrymen, archer, officers and their horses symbolically guard the tomb of the first Qin emperor.
Afternoon:
Followed by the dramatic Wild Goose Pagoda.
Evening:
At night you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 7 Xi'an to Beijing
Today's activities: Ancient City Wall, Temple of Heaven
Morning:
Visit the Ancient City Wall that still compasses the center of Xi'an.
Afternoon:
Transfer and take the flight to Beijing. Explore the Temple of Heaven which itself has become a symbol of the city. Here ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest. Transfer to the hotel for 3 nights.

Day 8 Beijing
Today's activities: Forbidden City, Tian'anmen Square, Summer Palace, Peking Opera Show
Morning:
Take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world.
Afternoon:
Continue to the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting.
Evening:
At night a fascinating Peking Opera Show will be presented to you at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day 9 Beijing
Today's activities: Great Wall, Ming Tomb, Quanjude Roasted Duck
Morning:
You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance.
Afternoon:
Continue to the Ming Tomb, which due to their enormity took over 200 years to complete.
Evening:
Dinner is served at the original, century-old Quanjude Roasted Duck Restaurant.

Day 10 Beijing
Transfer to the airport for the flight to your homeland. Alternatively, extend your stay.
