Day 1 Beijing
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. Take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world.

Day 2 Beijing
You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance. After lunch visit the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting. In the evening you will enjoy an acrobatic show.

Day 3 Beijing
In the morning take a tour through hutongs, Beijing’s old and narrow lanes, and visits to Nanluogu Lane and Imperial Academy. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complex in China, continue to the National Grand Theater, Bird’s Nest or National Stadium and Water Cube or National Aquatic Center.

Day 4 Beijing/Tai’an
Leave for Mount Tai by train in the morning. The train stops at Tai’an at the foot of the mountain. Ascend the mountain either on foot or by cable car. Up on the peak and find an ideal place to see the splendid sunset. Down the mountain, drive to Tai’an.

Day 5 Tai’an/Qufu
Take a sightseeing tour of Dai Temple and a folklore tourist village in the morning. After lunch, transfer to Qufu, the birthplace of Confucius. Visit Confucius temple. After dinner, watch a large-scale “Confucius Apricot Altar Dream” music and dance performance.

Day 6 Qufu/Zibo
In the morning visit Confucius Family Mansion and Cemetery, and attend the unique activities stemmed from Confucius “Six Art and Skills” (Etiquette, Music, Archery, Driving, Writing and Calculating). After lunch, transfer to Zibo, one of China’s historic and cultural cities, visit China Pottery and Porcelain Hall.

In the morning, visit the Ancient Chariot Museum and Funeral Horses Pit and Tombs from the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. In the afternoon, visit Zhou Village, an ancient Commercial City.

In the morning, transfer to Qingzhou County to visit Qingzhou Museum, which is the largest and well-collected county-level museum. After lunch, take the private car to Qingdao.
